Jamie Longstreet Paterson-The General’s Granddaughter at the dedication. I asked Mr. Casteel if it was true that Longstreet’s granddaughter attended the unveiling ceremony. The Longstreet Museum is the former William Nenney home. It was in this house that Confederate Lieutenant General James Longstreet made his headquarters for the First Corps, Confederate Army of Northern Virginia during the East Tennessee campaign of 1863-1864.
